Not going to lie, I stole this idea from Positively Oakes. BUT it is super warm in Maine the past couple days and I have been getting in gear to begin home renovations again and am really craving some greenery. Not to mention, I was at Home Depot last weekend and fell in love with the fig leaf plant…however, most of them were already dying and I just don’t know if I have the green thumb to revive a fig leaf plant. I also knew that I would then have to purchase a really cute planter to go with it, so what a perfect opportunity to do some faux plant window shopping and have you come along with me!

There can be a lot of empty corners in rooms, sticking in a nice leafy and vibrant plant can really tie a room together. And if you actually have a green thumb you could switch the faux plant for the real deal and get the added bonus of clean oxygen. Either way, the feeling of living things (besides the humans/pets) in your home can really bring an extra calmness. Don’t be afraid to let your faux green thumb flourish ! xo Tayla
